Electronic Invoicing Module
Switch to e-invoicing with ease
Electronic invoicing will become mandatory starting January 2026.
We are pleased to announce that this new module will soon be ready
to help you easily transition to electronic invoicing!
This “e-Invoicing” system allows you to send your invoices directly to PEPPOL.
As soon as you print an invoice on paper or send it by email to your client,
MEGAWIN automatically creates a digital UBL file and transmits it
to the PEPPOL platform. Your client receives an email containing both a PDF and XML file.
It can be imported into any accounting or invoicing software.
All products listed on the invoice will be integrated into a purchase invoice,
so there is no need to manually re-enter all the items.
By the end of this year, all European companies will have to join PEPPOL.
MEGAWIN supports you in this transition towards digitalization…
This new paid module will be available soon…

What is Peppol?
Peppol, which stands for **Pan-European Public Procurement Online**, is a secure network designed for the transmission of digital business documents such as invoices.
Co-funded by the European Commission and 18 public bodies, Peppol aims to simplify the purchasing and payment process between public entities and suppliers.
Although developed in collaboration with the European Commission, the Peppol network has an international reach and is increasingly adopted outside Europe, establishing a new standard for sending invoices.
How does Peppol work?
Peppol is a secure network where accredited Access Points exchange digital documents such as invoices.
You can connect to these Access Points by using a service provider’s software or by linking your own software.
To register, you need a unique identifier. In Belgium, this identifier is your company number or your GLN number.
What is a digital invoice?
The Peppol network only allows the sending of electronic invoices, which are fully digital XML files — unlike PDF invoices.
These electronic invoices are based on the international **UBL (Universal Business Language)** standard for business documents.
This ensures that files can be automatically read and processed by invoicing software worldwide.
What are the benefits of electronic invoicing?
Peppol is a secure network that allows sensitive financial data to be exchanged safely.
All users’ identities are verified, ensuring the authenticity of invoices and helping to prevent fraud.
Peppol also simplifies the automation of your invoicing process.
Invoices sent through this network are fully digital, allowing them to be automatically processed by invoicing software.
Electronic invoices compliant with the UBL standard are read without error, eliminating manual data entry and reducing human mistakes.
By connecting your bank account, payments and invoices are automatically reconciled, providing a clearer overview of your company’s financial situation.
Furthermore, Peppol is fast — your recipient receives the invoice within 10 minutes of sending it, which, combined with automated processing, saves you valuable time.
Why is Peppol so important?
Authorities are increasingly requiring the use of Peppol for sending electronic invoices to combat fraud.
In Belgium, for example, anyone invoicing Flemish or federal authorities must use Peppol.
This network is also being widely adopted across other European countries and worldwide,
both for invoices sent to public authorities (B2G) and for those exchanged between companies (B2B).
