Electronic Invoicing Module
Switch to e-invoicing with ease
Electronic invoicing will be mandatory from January 2026.
We are pleased to announce that this new module is already ready
to help you move smoothly to electronic invoicing!
This “e-Invoicing” system lets you send your invoices to PEPPOL
via the Peppol-certified Access Point <CODA BOX>.
As soon as you print an invoice on paper or send it by e-mail to your customer,
MEGAWIN automatically creates a digital UBL file and forwards it
to the PEPPOL platform. Your customer receives an e-mail containing a PDF and XML file.
It can be imported into accounting or invoicing software.
All products listed on the invoice will be included in a purchase invoice,
so there is no longer any need to re-enter all the items manually.
By the end of this year, all European companies will be required to join PEPPOL.
MEGAWIN supports you through this transition to digitalization…

What is Peppol?
Peppol, which stands for Pan-European Public Procurement Online, is a secure network designed for the transmission of digital business documents such as invoices. Co-funded by the European Commission and 18 public bodies, Peppol aims to simplify the purchasing and payment process between public entities and suppliers. Although developed in collaboration with the European Commission, the Peppol network has international reach and is increasingly adopted outside Europe, establishing a new standard for sending invoices.
How does Peppol work?
Peppol is a secure network where accredited Access Points exchange digital documents such as invoices. You can connect to these Access Points using a service provider’s software or by linking your own software. To register, you need a unique identifier. In Belgium, this identifier is your company number or your GLN number.
What is a digital invoice?
The Peppol network allows only electronic invoices to be sent, which are fully digital XML files, unlike PDF invoices. These electronic invoices are designed according to the international UBL (Universal Business Language) standard for business documents. This ensures that files can be read and processed automatically by invoicing software worldwide.
What are the benefits of e-invoicing?
Peppol is a secure network that enables the safe exchange of sensitive financial data. The identity of all users is verified, which guarantees the authenticity of invoices and helps prevent fraud.
Peppol also makes it easier to automate your invoicing. Invoices sent via this network are fully digital, allowing them to be processed automatically by invoicing software. Electronic invoices that follow the UBL standard are read without errors, eliminating the need to re-enter data and thus reducing human error. By connecting your bank account, payments and invoices are automatically reconciled, giving you a better overview of your company’s financial situation. In addition, Peppol is fast: your recipient receives the invoice within 10 minutes of sending, which, combined with automatic processing, saves you valuable time.
Why is Peppol so important?
Authorities are increasingly requiring the use of Peppol to send electronic invoices in order to combat fraud. In Belgium, for example, those invoicing the Flemish and federal authorities must use Peppol. This network is also increasingly adopted in other European countries and worldwide, both for invoices sent to public authorities (B2G) and for those exchanged between businesses (B2B).
